Indeed this has something to do with the voice profile - when it's enabled, pairing is lost all the time. Disabling it eliminates the problem together with the function itself.

I have Sony Z5 with Android 6.0.1 and my wife has Z3+ We both have Huawei Watch devices (Android Wear 1.5). Both watches are paired and work in hands-free mode.

What we both have noticed is that from time to time (approx. twice per week for each device) the phones lose pairing with watches and offer to pair the matching watch again (this happens in different time for each device, of course).

Is this some known problem, or something that needs investigating?

Same issue here with Z5 Premium Dual. Loses pairing 4 or 5 times a day.

I searched around and it's since August many people have this problem with Huawei Watch and other phones, including Z5.

The only way to solve it is disabling audio profile.

So many months with this bug and they can't fix it?

Android Wear...

EDIT: after a while the watch lost pairing again, no solution yet. After pairing back I have the watch icon in the list.

I'm doing a lot of tests these days and maybe I found something about this problem.

1) I erased all the bluetooth devices paired to the phone
2) I went to"settings" -> "apps" (click "Show system" in options menu) and stopped "bluetooth share": after that I erased all the data of the app.
3) Paired the watch again

After that in bluetooth devices list I have this:

You see the icon of the watch now is like a headset.
No more pairing loss since then (one day ago) and everything seems working good.

EDIT: after a while the watch lost pairing again, no solution yet.
