Power button not working

Hello

I have a problem on my XSP. The power on/off/lock/unlock doen`t work. I can lock/unlock the phone but I can`t shut down/power up the pgone from there. is this a software problem or a hardware problem? Anyone else encountered this?

Hi,

That sounds very strange. Did you do anything special with the phone when this behaviour appeared? Installed a specific app for example? If not, I suggest that you make a factory reset via Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset. Otherwise, you should visit nearest service center to have your phone examined by a technician. Same pronlem here but it happens randomly. One time i suddenly couldn't bring the shut down menu but i could lock the phone. Then after 2 days the problem disappeared itself and the menu came out by holding the lock button.

Done repair, seems to be working for now.
