PROBLEM WITH THE BACK and OPTIONS KEY!!!

Hi. My name is Will from The Philippines. Bought this phone via Facebook few weeks ago. It comes complete in a box. I updated the OS a week after i bought it. I am currently having problem with the Back and Options capacitative screen. It goes crazy. It seems that it is having a a mind of its own. Its very annoying since it renders my unit totally useless. My IMEI: 35821704-032425.

without even touching..

use this to update ur phone and u'll not get the problem..

it'll delete all the phone data so backup all ur files first.

many users are facing this problem..

if software update does not helps u then it'll be a hardware problem..

even if u give it to repair, the first thing they will do this software update only and will give u the phone and will say try now..

so its gud that u do this at home..

and if the problem remains then u can say to them its a hardware problem and not software problem..

it'll save u time..

just try once

backup all ur files b4 doin so..ok..

and if its a hardware problem they will change the set or the motherboard..

you can't just replace the motherboard, you will need to remove the processor, ram, etc, I believe it's all integrated.

If you have the same problem with the Back and Options key and you have tried upgrading the OS,Master Reset,etc and the same problem persists. Is it most probably a Hardware Problem?

I would like to take my phone to an authorized SE service center but I have one major problem, I dont have an Official SE Warranty.

My phone came from someone outside of the country and it doesn't come with a Warranty.

What will i do?

Is it possible to buy a Warranty from SE Service Center or the likes? My phone is totally useless now. The Back and Options key are just too crazy. Please help me,anyone?

If its a hardware problem, what could be the possible remedy for me to still use my phone?

I'm just sad now that I can't use my Xperia Mini.

I really love SE.

you are rught since you purchased it from another country,

it wont be covered under warranty..

either you have to get it changed from your country itself and pay

or if you plan to visit that country again from where you purchased it, you can get it changed under warranty..

i dont think you can buy SE warranty

yes i updated my arc to 2.3.4 thru flashing not the official firmware.. (xperia arc)
