I recommend that you test your speakers in the built in diagnostics tool. You can do so if you go to: Settings &amp;gt; About phone &amp;gt; Diagnostics &amp;gt; Test device &amp;gt; Loudspeaker / Ear speaker.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would also recommend that you reboot your device to &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/safe+mode/pd-p/safe_mode" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="187-1"&gt;safe mode&lt;/A&gt; to see if this&amp;nbsp;behaviour is caused by one of your downloaded apps as these will be temporarily disabled in this mode.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Keep me posted on how it goes.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Have you tried to reboot your device to &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/safe+mode/pd-p/safe_mode" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="187-2"&gt;safe mode&lt;/A&gt;? Any difference with your earphones there? Also have you tried with more then one pair of earphones?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me know how it goes.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
