As &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/202"&gt;@uliwooly&lt;/A&gt; suggested you can try to temporarily remove your SIM and SD card from your device to see if they are causing this behavior.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can also force shutdown your device by holding down the volume up and on/off key for at least 10 seconds.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are still experiencing the same behavior with your device, I recommend that you perform a &lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/c-sonymobile/software+repair+using+Xperia+Companion/pd-p/software_repair_2" class="lia-product-mention" data-product="190-1"&gt;software repair using Xperia Companion&lt;/A&gt; to see if anything software related is&amp;nbsp;causing this behavior.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Let me know how it goes.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
