Hello,

Speaker in my Xperia SP doesn't working correctly.

When i use phone with headphones, it works correctly, I can do calls, listen music.

When I want to listen music through external speaker, nothing happens. Also can't do calls, because I hear nothing via speaker above screen. When call somebody and use HANDFREE mode, it works correctly, I hear other person, so it seems like speaker is working but there is some issue in recognizing headphones. Phone behaves like there always are headphones.
I tried to plug and unplug headphones few times, it doesn't help.

Do you have any advices? I would love to bring my phone back to life. It is useless without functional calls.

Hi @zahoq,

Welcome to the community.

If your phone is detecting that headphones are connected even when they are not, then there is likely something in the headphone jack that is completing the circuit, such as debris or moisture.

Try cleaning out the headphone jack and try again. Compressed air is a good way to do this.

I did as you suggested something like month ago and it helped. Now cleaning doesn't fix the problem.

Mounting new headphone jack part may fix the problem?

Ok I solved the problem. I bought jack part online, replaced old one (it's really simple), now everything works fine. Part costs something like 4$ so it's no big deal. If you have any questions feel free to pm.
