Xperia J screen is black / not working

From one day to another my xperia J screen is black.

Pushing the Power Key results in flashing up of the back key, home key and menu key as well as the social network notifier light, but no reaction of the touchscreen.

When plugged in the LED still indicates the battery level (red-green).

I can remove and insert the battery and after pushing the power key again the phone vibrates once.

I already tried a software-update via Sony PC companion / USB, with no effect.

Any help is appreciated!

So you have tried to charge the phone for about 2 hours and perform a software repair?

That's right. Charged it overnight and performed a software repair.

And you have made it clear that the phone was completely off while doing the procedure?

As suggested by the PC companion I removed the fully charged battery, waited 5 minutes and inserted it again BEFORE starting the repair procedure. So the phone was completely off. When the procedure was finished I followed the PC companion's order and kept pushing the "-" key during the startup, just to end up where I've been before. Black screen, flashing keys.

Did you get your xperia back to working? I have the same problem and I don't know the cause.
