memory card installation

hi everybody....

care to help me out....

i just bought X8, and the memory card space is not enough for me,

i want to upgrade it to 16Gb,

can anyone tell me the steps to change it without inflicting damage to

all the apps that i've already installed in the curent memory...

Xperia X8 runs on 2.1 therefore all your apps are in the internal memory not the SD card, but you should do the following if you want to preserve all the files from your old SD card

ok on your PC

1) open any folder -> click on tools -> properties -> view -> show hidden files

2) mount your phone with the NEW SD card and delete everything (save any file that you might want to keep)

3) swap SD cards, mount the old SD card, go to your SD card, press Ctrl + A then Ctrl C, on your desktop create a new folder, open it, then press CTRL + V

4) swap SD cards, mount the new SD card, open the folder you just created, press Ctrl + A then Ctrl C, open your SD card, Ctrl + V

I don't know if you are aware but you need a file manager to have access to your SD card through your phone, try this out
