What is multi-touch on Android? It is different than Apple's multi-touch, isn't it?

just think about google maps, how you can use two fingers to pinch-zoom, or two fingers to rotate the map, etc. it's up to either Google and/or developers to take advantages of multitouch. in that sense ios and android are similar, but different code.

Multi-touch its not multitask, multitask is when you do multiple things at once, lets say you are using Gtalk and then you reply to a txt using the notification bar then you long press the MENU button and tap on Gtalk to switch back to Gtalk, while playing music in the background, that's multitask

there are some great apps that take advantage of gestures, there aren't dualtouch/multitouch gestures
