Neo MSC Mode, why not the memory card recognized as a drive?

my older phone's memory card was a 4 gb and i was always able to format and reach it as a X: drive on windows. but neo doesnt let me use it the same way. i can only access it as a mobile device named xperia neo on MTP mode. on msc mode, the card is found but can not be accessed. can someone tell me if i have a problem here? do everyone's neos behave the same way about memory cards?

try this

settings -> sony ericsson -> connectivity -> uncheck 1) install pc companion 2) auto connect in msc -> tap on USB Connection mode -> MSC

now connect your phone to your computer

wait then drag down the notification bar and tap on mount SD card

dear god, so much thx. i didnt know that. i hate that small notifications area and never saw that notification about mounting til you said. done!

Now don't forget to install the backup & restore app, just in case and the other methods to backup everything
