Yes it will - Anything on your SD card will or should be fine but apps, Contacts etc will be deleted as the repair will return your phone back to factory defaults

Hi, yesterday my sola started to reboot continously while I was setting an alarm and now is stuck in a loopboot (sony logo > xperia logo > sony logo etc). The only way to shutdown is pwr button + volup. Pc companion doesn't recognize the phone because it cannot even boot properly and so I can't repair the firmware. Any idea? Any chance to save all the data on phone memory?

I'll try SUS as soon as possible. Will it delete all data (sms, application data like whatsapp conversations etc) stored on phone memory?

Hi, my sola is having the same problem. I've downloaded the SUS and start the update process, but when i connect my phone while pressing the volume down key as requested nothing happened. First, the indicator LED turned green (flash mode), but few seconds later it returned back to red (normal charging) displaying the SONY logo and then the battery logo being charged. I've tried to reconnect the phone several times but still it won't work out and the program couldn't detect my phone.

please help.
