Alarm doesn't sound

Hi, had this problems two times with my Xperia V, when the alarm goes of the phone doesn't make any sound, it only vibrates and shows the normal turn of/snooze screen.

The phone was turned on, both the normal sound and the alarm sound was on, battery was fully charged and so on...

Just make sure you've marked " Alarm in silent mode" in advanced alaram settings.

That option is marked, also the phone wasnt in Silent mode

That's strange you know. It looks like a software glitch or perhaps an action of 3rd party app.

Any other Alarm app you have in your phone ? or any app the controls sounds and notifications ? if yes then you may want to revise their settings.

If that doesn't help you please let me know, we will give software repair a go.

I'm not able to replicate this problem even after using various combinations of settings.

Hello!

I have the same problem with my Xperia V. Alarm and all other notificatins wasn't work (it begin work only after reboot). Phone wasn't at silent mode.

This problem was 2 or 3 times during month.

I reproduced this bag. This is because of Ingress app in my case.

Steps:

1. Plug headsets.

2. Open Walkman and turn on music.

3. Launch Ingress app (without game sounds).

4. Turn off display with power off button.

5. Unplug 3.5 jack.

And now all sounds doesn't work.

Skipped step 3. Just try to play songs in walkman app for around 10 minutes and then unplugged the earphone and see if the problem persist.

I had skipped step 3 and haven't seen this problem. In my case this bug occured with some app.

I had written to Ingress app developers.

My alarm or none of the sounds work on my Xperia T. I've gone into the settings and it shows sounds should be on. Only vibrate.

I have the same problem on my xperia x. And I don't have ingress. Really annoyed by this as I can't wake up properly without my alarm and have had multiple problems because of the alarm sound not working. Although when is not working I've tested other apps like spotify and YouTube and the sound works perfectly fine.

does this happen when you are on safe mode? make sure that DND options is disabled
