Have you turn your phone off and on again lately? Try that if you haven't..

If the problem persists, clear data for Xperia keyboard. Go to settings > apps > all > Xperia keyboard > clear data. Restart the phone. Try again.

Mine keeps disappearing and reappearing while typing thus making me send incomplete messages as i mistakenly hit the "send" icon when the keyboard drops down.
And i have alreary cleared the so called "clear data" "clear cache".
What next please? Thank you

I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:

HI! I have just lost the Z and the S key. When I press Z I get an X and when I press S I get a da. I've done the clear data and it doesn't work. All other keys work normally. Thank you.

I am facing the exact same problem, the keyboard does not appear at all. Yesterday my keyboard stopped appearing and I've done everything i can think of to get it to work, ect turned it off and on manually, cleared all cache and data, left it off for a few hours. I'm completely stumped as of what to do.
