PC companion/uninstalling stuff/ account issues

Hi everybody

- Does anybody have any issue logging in to their account the past few days? I mean here in the forum. I had to make a new account so I can post a question.

- I was trying to repair my 2.3 GB X10 over the weekend but it didnt work out. The message I was getting was something like that: " There is no suitable software for your phone". I originally had X10a ( US AT&T) but I flashed the X10i GB since it came out. The reason I want to repair is that I hope to get rid of that skiping while recording video. It is really annoying, "cheepish" and I didnt have it on the 2.1. I tried clearing cache, reset and everything I could, the SD card is newly formated but I still have the same problem and I think for some reason is getting worse. Do you think if I flash again the same ROM (since the PC companion is not working for me) it is going to be better?

- Last question, I am thinking of uninstalling the Wise pilot app and the postcard thing app using titanium (my phone is rooted) do you think that it is going to cause a problem to the system?

you can use Update Service to repair your phone

or you can reflash your phone with FlashTool

also there shouldn't be an issue deleting those two apps

Hi there and thanks for your fast response.

I dont mean to sound dumb, but isnt this the new version of PC companion? If yes then that s what I did and it didnt work. Once the flashing process started (plug usb holding back key and so on) it says that there is not software for you.

THanks again, I think I am going to flash the one I have again one more time.

PS do you know of any reviews of "Wolfbreak's" 2.3 ROM? I hope I didnt butcher it, I mean the one with the Bravia engine and such. Have you tried it?

I haven't tried those ROMs yet but I'll try them soon
