"Tethering error " Error occurred during tethering

Hi Guys

I am unable to use portable wi-fi hotspot

When I try to enable it it shows following message as in screenshots

The error once I press OK in above screenshot

Need your help to solve this issue, or am I missing something here.

Build number 9.0.1.D.0.10

ICS4.0.4

Any help will be higly appreciated.

I think I have found the solution for this. The tethering will not work if the 3g is off. I started 3g and thering started working. Thsi is working as per design.

Watu u mean by 3g? it is always on in my phone n nt working

I have the same issue on my Xperia Z5. Have you found a solution ?
