topic keyboard layout in Other/General

keyboard layout

anyone can teach me how to change back to a standard keyboard layout. i've been using my xperia play for over 2 mos. now then today suddenly the keyboard layout changed to Chinese and I cant change it because there is no option to change it.

please need help it so irritating because the layout has been changed and the space bar becomes smaller.

its simple, open your messaging app -> go to any conversation -> tap on the white rectangle -> long press the white rectangle -> tap on input method and choose the default keyboard

anytime don't forget to backup everything on your phone just in case

Install backup & Restore app (works with arc, play, neo)?

just to play it safe sync your contacts w/ google if you haven't already

open your phonebook

press MENU button -> tap on Send Contacts -> select all -> send it to your email

on your computer

-> download the file -> go to your gmail -> click on contacts -> click on more actions -> on the drop down menu click on "import" -> choose the file -> and click import

if you don't want to use the backup & restore app then

Install "backup SMS" to back up your SMS and MMS to your Gmail

one last thing

Don't worry so much about backing up your apps

on your computer go to

market.android.com -> log in -> click on My Library -> and send all your apps to your phone
