User Dictionary Bug Fix?

Hi, does anyone know if there is a bug fix yet so that we can actually start using the user dictionary and the words that are stored there? Its seriously driving me up the walls that I have to manually input a long name I use every day. Given this is one of the main features id say of the phone its pretty useless if its not working.

you mean your mobile is not able to learn the words you type ?

nor does it shows "words suggestion" ??

make sure you have these settings
settings> language and keyboard > international keyboard> text input > mark learn words > mark quick fixes
tap on word suggestion and then > suggest words, don't correct automatically

or you already have these settings ?

I have those settings selected. Before the 4.0 upgrade I was at least able to save words via another text app but now that doesnt work either. Tried rebooting the phone 2-3 times but still doesnt work

Sorry I was mistaken. Under "About Phone" it says android version 2.3.4

okhh since you are on ginger bread, perform a software repair, and this problem will go away

Update/Repair your phone via PCC OR SUS PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to). Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)

I suggest you follow nabeelraza's suggestion in his last comment.

The settings you have are correct and the phone should be able to learn words. A software repair should hopefully sort this out. Let us know.
