problem in updating software

Hi, i just bought the Xperia S and have problem in using the PC companion to update the software. Always return the Server Overloaded error message. I checked the other communties that this happened on other models too. So, what can I do? Can I DL the update separately and install myself?

Update Service (SEUS)

I can try the app and where can I dl the backup and restore app? under google play?

Unfortunately it is not available in the Google play, try out the link posted by @uliwooly the links to download the application is perhaps available there...:-D
