Rear Speaker Volume...

Hi, I have an Xperia Neo and the rear speakers have suddenly become almost inaudible even at maximum volume, now i can't hear the notifications, it ringing or anything coming from the rear speaker...

what should i do, i have a local-ish Sony store i could take it too, does the guarantee cover this, will they be able to repair this fault or perhaps replace the device?

do a service test and see if it is working

dial *#*#7378423#*#* in dialer > servic tests> speaker> after that stereo speaker

do tell the results

Thanks for your responds, i did the service test like you suggested and on "speaker" it's still only just audible if i put it to my ear. couldn't see the "stereo speaker" option but i did test the "earphone" which is working correctly.

it confirms that its not a software problem but a hardware problem
visit your nearest service center to get it done

after getting it done,, remember to visit here

and since it is not a physical damage, your phone might get repaired free of cost

Thank for your support, i will take it to my local Sony shop in Hereford and see what they can do.
