update failed

every time i try and update i get this message "nstallation failure. It's unable to install components OR to start the phone update" ive tried to reinstall the appilcation on my pc but no luck. i have also gone through some of the other feed on the fourm but i still get the same issue. any one help ?

try this instead

Update Service (SUS)

Also turn off your firewall and/or antivirus then run SUS (make sure to restart your PC after you installed SUS)

if that doesn't work then

restart your PC -> F8 -> safe mode -> run SUS

Also

update/reinstall/install java

http://www.java.com/winoffline_installer
