Keyboard-Touchscreen issue!

Hi! I use a Xperia X10 Mini Pro since July 2011. About two days ago I have been having this issue:

When I turn the phone on, it works, athough the touchscreen is sometimes unresponsive, and I get stuck in the lock.

IF I get through the lock (which normall takes up to 5 minutes to get the touchscreen to respond) and it works, everyting else works until I open the keyboard (for messaging for example..). When I do it, the keyboard works, but the touchscreen becomes unresponsive. From that point on, the touschreen will not work AT ALL.

The only way to make it work at that point is by removing the battery, because all screen sensors kind of drop dead, even for turning off the phone!!!

I have tried erasing messages, erasing applications, restarting the phone, removing the battery and putting it again.. but nothing works!!

I've dropped the phone several times so I don't know if that has to do.

I don't have protective casing on my phone... I live in Costa Rica, so I don't have a SE Service but I am still in my year of guarantee!

This has never happened to me, so I am quite scared!

i think u need to do a software repair

Update/Repair your phone via PCC OR SUS

PCC (PC COMPANION) – Repair your software with this .First do the setup without connecting your mobile to pc.(only connect when you are asked to). Do it as follow >> PCC > SUPPORT ZONE> SOFTWARE UPDATE> REPAIR SOFTWARE (written with blue)
