Problem with Android Market...

First of all Happy new year to all members of this forum! I have bought a xperia arc at september and i can't login in android market from the first time!

I write the right pass (username and password) but it says u have problem with ur system or phone ........so i dont know what can i do ...if anyone is Greek please answer me in Greek...Thanks..

I also had the same problem when i buy my Arc... i solved my problem by installing the new version of market which i downloaded from market and after installing it give the option that no account registered want to add then i tap on yes and using wifi network it registered...

some guys also suggest me to restore factory but in my case that didn't work... if you have wifi connection access then you can try by reset your phone by going->settings->privacy->factory data reset..

Thanks for the help but how can i download the new version of market?from where?at the pc or at the phone?and how?

The new version of Market is downloaded automatically when you start Market - which would be a problem here since that's your problem in first place.

I suggest you first of all go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps > Market > Uninstall updates. Also tap on Clear data.

When this is done you start Market again.

Also - have you made any changes on your Google account recently? E.g. activated 2 step verification or something similar with the security settings?

2 step verification means the account will ask for two different passwords.

Market cannot be uninstalled so don't worry about that part.

When you go to Settings > Apps > Manage apps > All (tab) > Market, you should find the option "uninstall updates" in the top right corner. If there are no updates installed it's not available though. It will probably just say "cancel" if so.

You can't uninstall the market

you can download it from your computer through this link

after downloading this apk file then install it in your phone and connect to wifi network and add the account..

It works my friend!thanks a lot for ur help and Markus too! I solve the problem with the market but i have a new problem with the wi-fi ....when i try to login at my router in my house ..and when i turn on the wi-fi connection after 2-3 secondsand it try to connect with my router it says Disconected......after it do again scaning and make authentication with my router but after 2 seconds it says again disconected............and again from the start.......so i cant connect in internet now....wtf? :S

Does this always happen and with all networks/routers? How many different networks have you tried to connect to?

I'd tried three with 2 it always drops signals and with one remained connected with really poor speed....
