slim, he would root for the first time so he must know what is rooting .. what it can cause...
maybe he leaves the thought of rooting after reading what uliwooly said:smileywink:

there is a recovery mod to be installed in case the phone fucks up , the recovery mode will help him to boot the phone..

i dont know how to install the recovery mode..

i know how to run in safe mode... but not recovery mode

Hi, To boot phone in safe mode, power on phone, press and hold MENU button when Sony Ericsson text appears. You should see text safe mode at the bottom of the screen when phone boots up.

well u got ur answer
i would advice you to not exercise this mode unnecessarily... i have seen people ending up with troubles ( including me:smileysilly:) after using this so called "safe mode"
