get "Handsent sms" from Android Market... should let you save pics..

Handcent is perfect for the job but just to enhance on the previous answer, if you long press on the screen whilst viewing the picture in Handcent then it will give you a pop up box and one of the options is to save to SD card.

It is an app that is available from the Android Market on your phone, however what I didn't check before is what your location is and if you have the Android Market available to you as it is not available everywhere (which I don't think is made clear enough to consumers when purchasing the phone in these locations)

I found the Android Market but don't know where to find the handsent sms, could you please direct me in the right way....

I have attached a link form Androidzoom for the app, you could try using a barcode scanner app to scan/take a picture of the QR code to see if your phone can locate it on the market. Some apps are location sensitive and not available everywhere.

Yay! Doing the booty dance for you right now:smileywink: Glad you got sorted and can now save your pics. Just check that your Album can pic them up again for you to view them. If not shout and I can give further advice.

hi! i recently installed handcent sms. wen i receive a msg, it comes up in d regular sms messenger an also in handcent messenger. so i hav 2 open d msg twice. is dere ne way i can get rid of d old messenger an only run handcent?

open your messaging app -> press MENU -> settings -> uncheck notifications
