Which is best antitheft application?

Hii Guys,

can any one please tell which is best antitheft application?? i tried androidlost and mcafee. android lost is very good but it's not sending sms to buddy while sim change.i already add my friend's number but not getting sms.and in mcafee it just eveluation version which is already given by sony.now i treid avast but in installation of antitheft feature at the end it creats in zip file in SD card and then after nothing.i was wrong somewhere i think.can any one just guide me please.or is there any other app.is available.?? i don't need any antivirus featue...main thing is sms will sent to buddy list.

try avast..its awesome

i have tired just the message feature to mark the phone as lost t works...

i have not tried sim change yet , lazy :smileygrin:

so download it , read al the sms commands and try changing the sim and let us know also..i think it will work

I alreay installed.but anttheft feature was not installed properly or i was wrong some where.it creates some update.zip file in sd card and then nothing happens.if you don't mind can u please tell me which options should be selected while installing avast antitheft. it's something root application.we have to do something else for installing root application?

If your phone isn't rooted*, then don't choose the option during avast's installation that says it requires root. Most of the functions will still work fine.

* If you don't know what this means, it isn't.

Hii Fist,

I want "Antitheft" only nothing else. please guide me more to install that feature.and how to root the phone??

Follow the instructions in avast to install the anti-theft feature. Then uninstall avast. The anti-theft feature will remain active.

basically what do you mean by anti theft.?? what do you want from a software.?? what should it do..??

@nikunj.....avast is a good 1 it gives antivirus protection+anti-theft...u have to download the app from market open it there will be a choice for if ur phone is rooted or not mark it...at the next step it would download the antitheft software seperatly...but it looks to me that ur only asking for anti-theft not antivirus.i'm giving a link here the app is called 'where is my droid' available in market u can check it out...here's it
