      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1267177"&gt;@Abayomi87&lt;/A&gt;, welcome to our forum!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Just to clarify, is it asking for your 4 digit SIM PIN code, or is it asking for a 16 digit network unlocking code? If it is asking for your normal SIM PIN code and you don't have it, get in touch with your operator and they'll assist you further.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the device is locked to a network after updating it, how did you update the device? Was it done in the device or when using Xperia Companion? As&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/202"&gt;@uliwooly&lt;/A&gt;&amp;nbsp;mentioned, the only way it should be locked as far as I know, is if you flash a firmware that has a network lock by default.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Let us know a bit more about the lock and how you updated the device.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
