After using the loud speaker function my microphone won't work on incoming or outgoing calls, is this a software issue or is my phone faulty

Settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test mic

I have done that a few times and each time the microphone works but during normal daily usage it goes off after I use the loud speaker function and callers can't hear me until I put the loud speaker on again, so I have to keep r-starting my phone to get the microphone to work normally

Test the phone in safe mode for several hours and see if you experience the same issue.
