App updates

after factory resetting my xperia e4, Update Center or What's New don't refresh for app updates, like album or video. what should I do to recieve those notifications or updates?

On Play Store, the only updates from Sony apps are for Album, Music, Keyboard and Sketch. Updates for Video, Small App framework and other official apps which I got before resetting the phone are unavailable there. Also, before resetting my phone, What's New could have been updated through Update Center and Sony Select app was showing a message that it was outdated and it was sending me automatically to What's New. Now, What's New and Sony Select are at the initial version for this phone. Update Center was also giving me apps to install, like Amazon. Now, all it shows it is that my phone is up to date and when I refresh for updates, it remains with the "Loading..." message for an unlimited time.

could you try with data instead of WiFi?

I always tried refreshing on both WiFi and Mobile Data, but the result is the same, it shows the popup with "Loading" and it stands like this. Before resetting the phone, refreshing Update Center brought me updates for Sony apps that couldn't be updated through Play Store, even for Sony Select.

I found similar problem as well before. Fortunately, the update center works now and the apps can be updated.

Try downloading it using your PC and then connect your phone via USB and copy the apk into your phone and then launch it like a simple apk, installing the app as an update.
