Vivid mode is not the way to watch a movie in the way it was intended by the director

You may want to tray changing a bit the gamma value while in dolby vision in order to have a slightly brighter overall image, but if you like it in vivid mode an oled may be not the right tv for you

You should be able to set the peak brightness to High and the contrast enhancer to high also. Also, you could set the Dolby vision mode to Bright if you are viewing in a non dark room. Is your playstation emitting a HDR or Dolby Vision picture?

Brightness and contrast preset to high on dolby vision

Blacklevel set on 50 if I go lower to dark if I go higher picture washed-out

PlayStation is HDR and automatically changes from game to vivid

I think I have wasted my money on buying the AG8

I'll just have to watch everything on the PlayStation
