You can find the model number of the TV on a small sticker on the back or on the box if you still have it.

I have a XE9005

Sony apparently just released the list of models that are going to get the new Google TV interface ( I have it on my Chromecast with Google TV)

Does anyone know if the XE9005 will get that's update

What's the current software for your TV model? You can find it by pressing help and selecting system information.
