ITV hub error

My Sony tv will play bbc iplayer, e4 and others apps on my tv, but I keep getting an error message for itv hub after a few minutes of playing, I have checked my tv has the latest software update I think.

itv hub emailed and told me to contact Sony as they say there is a update and say Sony maybe able to push it through to my tv or send a usb device with the update on.

can anyone help

What TV model do you have and what is the software version you have on it?

I believe they're referring to the latest version (v8.605). You can try to install it manually using a USB flash drive.

Sorry not sure how to do it, can Sony send a new version to my Tv or send it to me to download?

Hey Autosleepers, the link the Joe Dohn mentioned has the instructions for how to do the update, you mainly need a computer and a USB, install the update, extract it, and then transfer it to the USB. Then attach it to the TV and it should update.

I don’t have use of a Computor, only mu iPhone and iPad, so can’t download the update.

could Sony send it through to my tv or send me a usb with the update on?
