Have you tried the basics of disconnecting everything and unplugging for a few minutes and such?

I have set up Alexa to control this TV but there are issues.

I can turn the TV on and off without a problem.

If I ask to switch to Netflix or Amazon Prime this also seems to work constantly. If I then ask to switch back to TV then the Alexa message says it is doing that but nothing happens. If I am on TV I can control the volume ok but, when I ask to switch channels, I get a message confirming it is being done but again nothing happens.

Does anyone else have similar issues?

When you say "TV" do you mean to say channels on the TV itself using an aerial or is it an external device (set-top box like a Humax, Virgin, BT, etc..)?

Controlling the channels should be supported, but I'm not sure if it would work on a box.

Hope this helps!

- JD

It is directly on the TV. The TV turns on ok but Alexa will not change the channel or alter the volume level although it acknowledges the request and says that it is doing it. I do have another issue in that it will switch to Netflix or Prime Video on request but I can't do anything further are I use a Harmony 650 remote which I don't think is supported by Sony.
