I know others have had this problem with audio stopping working. There was a recent update which said it fixed some audio issues but I'm still getting the same problems. I got this TV specifically to work with my PS5 as it was recommended on the Sony web site.

Turning the TV off and removing the power for a short time before restarting the TV restores the sound. This is junk. My old Sony TVs which didn't use AndroidTV never had any issues.

Fix the software. Even better, go back to writing your own based on the Playstation software.

Anyone who thinks a customer ought to wait for their TV to do one of the two basic things that any TV, from the cheapest dumb TV to the most expensive smart TV should do - reliably provide a picture and play the accompanying audio - is in a reality distortion field 😢
