Software is up to date on my tv

Recently and randomly, some times it does sometimes it doesnt, when I switch the tv on (or after a few minutes) the sound goes & then it turns itself off!.

It only takes about a minute before coming back on but during that time i get the following on the screen.....

SONY. Then for about 30 secs the coloured, moving circles/symbols, then ANDROID and then back on and all normal!!

Have others had this problem? Is this a Sony issue that will be sorted at next software update?

Have unplugged tv for a number of minutes. That has not worked. reluctant do do full reset

Your TV is rebooting itself.

You will need to make the factory reset, alas.

And if this does not cure it, then you have hardware problems.

I have two Bravia TV's, a KD43 and a KD55 and they have both started doing exactly this since the last software update. I don't believe it is a hardware issue but a bug in the latest software update.
