topic KD XF9005 will not turn on. in Android TV

KD XF9005 will not turn on.

Hi peeps this is my first question so here we go .......

Turned the tv and skyQ box on this morning, the SkyQ box indicating light turned green (on) but the tv indicating light under the Sony badge turned white but the TV did not come on (screen stayed black) had to turn of at the wall then on again to get going ....any idea's ?

Hi @O-C-D.

Assuming it was on the correct input, a quicker and easier way and not shock the power supply module is to perform a soft reboot. Hold down the TV remote Power button for about 10 seconds until it says Power off on the screen.

Thanks pal ...i did a plug out reboot which helped but i was more wondering why this would have happened to my TV. in the first place ??

Hi @O-C-D.

It was probably waiting for a reboot. Seriously if it happens every day you should return it to the retailer.
