43XD80 - Sound cutting out every 15 minutes

Hi all

I hope you can help. I have a brand new KD-43XD8099 which is fed by a Humax FreeSat box. The Humax I have had a few years and worked with no issues on original TV.

The issue is that every 15 minutes the sounds cuts out and then back on for around I guess 1/4 maybe 1/8 of a second. Any ideas?

Hi there

I am assuming that you are using the TVs speakers and not an external audio system like a soundbar etc?

Remove the Humax box out of the equation and test using the TVs internal speakers and a normal freeview channel that you have tuned directly on the TV. Does sound cut out still? If so, there might be an issue with the TV - if not, continue.
Connect the Humax box up, If you have connected the box to the TV using a HDMI cable, try using another HDMI cable to see if this works. If so, not continue.
Try disabling "Bravia Sync" on the TV completely. If this fails, continue.
Do a complete factory reset of the TV.
